If you are looking for yet another remake of the hit song “Let it Go” from the Frozen soundtrack, you will be sorely disappointed. Saint Saviour (aka British singer-songwriter Becky Jones) brings us a very soft and delicate track that features a piano based melody and her hushed vocals. There are times when the muted warmth of the arrangement is almost peaceful, but ultimately this song is a bit boring. When the tempo picks up, the pace of the lyrics no longer lays comfortably in the rhythm of the music and it immediately pulls you out of the song and all you can hear is the conflict. It doesn’t quite work as a dreamy lullaby and it isn’t interesting enough either in its lyrics or musicality to generate appeal on any other level. Feel free to let this one go. C
