Tonight I attended the Cirque de Soleil production of Ka. I saw the production years ago and so I jumped at the chance to see it again. My memory of the show did it no justice—it was extraordinary. I have loved all the Cirque shows I have seen—and the sense of wonderment and imagination never fails to impress me.
I couldn’t help but laughing during one of the most impressive scenes of physical strength and athleticism I couldn’t get over that the main male character was covered in glitter and wearing a thong. The lesson I took from this was to not take myself so seriously and add a little flash.
