Jordan: In Pictures

Jordan: In Pictures

I've been home for exactly two weeks and I thought it was about time I got around to sharing my 10 favorite images of Jordan.

As I've sifted through the images of this trip I've realized how much I've grown as a photographer and as an artist. Ten years ago I took pictures of EVERYTHING, now I am more concerned with trying to find a unique way to preserve what I'm feeling and experiencing. There is no way to fully capture a place in an image, but I hope you enjoy what I've tried to create.

This gentleman was sitting in the square with his friends and was so gracious to let me capture his image. I only wish I could have spent time hearing his story.

The kids were playing on the stairs as we were touring the city and they were SO excited when I asked if I could take their picture. I love the pure joy on their faces.

Sunset after our visit to Petra. I was emotionally and physically exhausted, but I found this moment so breathtaking that I stopped eating dinner to capture this image.
