90 - Day Challenge: Week 1 Update

Having a plan and implementing one are two very different things. This past week was more challenging than I anticipated, mostly because I’d failed to plan for my obstacles. In addition, I traveled to Chicago over the weekend for a training, and the hotel's weak internet connection made it impossible to get any work completed.

Here is my breakdown from week 1.

Mind:
Over the past few months, I've been slowly working on some big projects, but with looming deadlines and no room for procrastination I dived into them this past week.  First, I spent most of my time watching informational videos from a Creative Live class on travel photography.  It has given me some great pointers, and I've especially enjoyed learning more about Lightroom.

This summer I am in charge of our first family reunion and a celebration for my parent’s 50th Wedding Anniversary.  I love making photo books and so I wanted to create a combination yearbook/reunion book to help celebrate the event.   I was able to pin down the design for the book, which has been plaguing me for the past few months. Now that I have a clear design focus, it will be easy to get the book finished.

Body:
I was 7/7 on recording my food in My Fitness Pal. Yeah--one win! The big struggle was exercise and hydration.  I noticed that most days I drank ¾ of my water in the evening after work and very little during the day.  Week 2 my goal is to get ½ my water drunk before 5:00 p.m.  To address my exercise deficiency, I've already scheduled my gym visits for this week.

Spirit:
I've decided to redo this section (thus the updated graphic below) because I was already doing some of these things (prayer and scripture reading) and it wasn’t really much of a challenge.  A friend asked me this week what I was doing to cultivate deeper relationships, and I realize that is something I haven’t addressed.  Therefore, I added the new categories.

Now onto week 2!
